TU Delft OPEN Interactive Textbooks are dynamic educational resources in web environments where interactive learning comes to life. Developed by Delft University of Technology teachers using Jupyter Books, blending modern web design with traditional texts.

Designed for bachelor, master, and online courses, our textbooks offer adaptive layouts, comprehensive referencing, flexible formatting, interactive elements, and seamless multimedia integration—perfect for today’s digital learners. At the same time, the textbooks retain the traditional formatting of equations, figures, and tables through LaTeX and both Python-generated and user-provided images. Licensed under Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) in line with our Open Educational Resources policy, the textbooks are available for use, adoption, extension, and translation.

Experience a fresh, engaging approach to learning by exploring our demonstration book. We also offer training sessions and foster an active community of Delft University of Technology authors. If you are interested in publishing your own Open Interactive Textbook, please visit our information page or contact our open publishing team for more details.
